Personal Relationships: Pete’s parents, Matt and Ashley, are both are teachers. They were actors who met while being a part of a television show and Ashley still acts, appearing in the TV show “Heroes.” Matt has been teaching English at Sierra Canyon School for five years. Pete says he’s proud of how hard his dad worked to get his degree and start a second career and that his mom has always been both he and his dad’s “rock.” His parents are behind Pete 100% in his baseball career, saying they hope he continues to enjoy it and “as long as he’s having fun and doing something he loves”, there’s nothing better.
